I am a CT native growing up in Meriden and a product of their public school system K-12. I met my wife Amy at Providence College where we both graduated from and continue to maintain strong ties. Over 36 years ago Amy and I found the charm and allure of Canton and settled here to raise our four children. We are proud of the education our children received through the Canton schools K-12; all were active participants in curricular and non-curricular activities. Today we are fortunate that two of our children returned to Canton to live and raise their families; of our seven grandchildren, three are attending school in Canton.
I was elected to the Board in November making this my second time serving on the BOE. As a passionate volunteer I have served on the Board of Selectman, Canton Education Foundation, Dollars for Scholars and the Chamber of Commerce to name a few. My hope is to use my past experiences, my knowledge of the town and my extensive business background to help make our schools a little better every year.
For the last 11 years my full-time employment has been as Chief Executive Officer for a tele-health company headquartered in Avon. The majority of my career was spent in the area of employee benefits as a senior manager for Marsh, Wells Fargo and Willis.
My joy has always been in coaching. I have coached at many levels including high school football for many years and then practically every sport my children and now grandchildren play. Canton is a great place to live!
