A bit more about me...
I graduated from Canton High School in 1991 and then studied Math and Education at Trinity College in Hartford, CT. After graduating from Trinity in 1995, I taught grades 5-8 math at Brooklyn Friends School in Brooklyn, NY for two years. I then moved back to CT and taught high school math at Lewis Mills High School in Burlington while I got my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Central Connecticut State University. In the year 2000 I began teaching 8th grade math in Canton (in the same room that I took my math class back in 1987!). I taught in the middle school for 8 years before taking time off to be with my three young children. I am happily returning now as a substitute teacher for the next three months because I really love working within the Canton schools!
My husband, Bill (also a Canton High grad!), and I have three children: Cam (4),
James (2 1/2) and Helen (18mos).
