Hydrogen Power Web Quest
Task for Hydrogen Power Web Quest

Review the websites listed below.  Answer the following questions in a typed text document:

1.      What evidence supports the idea that hydrogen can provide a significant proportion of electrical demand in the future?  Is the evidence reliable/credible?
2.      Does everybody agree with that evidence?  If not, explain. Are the opposing viewpoints reliable/credible?
3.      We know that hydrogen production is better developed in some locations than others.

a.      Can production be enhanced in those areas in which it is already developed? How?
b.      Can production be developed in areas where it is now minimally developed? How?
4.      What are the technical challenges (at least 2) to development and deployment of hydrogen power?

5.      Can those challenges be overcome and how?
6.      What environmental problems does hydrogen power pose? Why?
7.      What social / political problems?  Why are these problems?
8.      Do any laws or regulations prevent the deployment of new hydrogen power?

9.      In your opinion, is hydrogen power truly sustainable?
