Reed Reference Guide

·       What kind of Reeds to Buy-

   All reeds are not “created  equal”.  The cheapest reeds are “Rico” reeds.  However, in my opinion, “Rico” reeds are only suitable for the first few months of playing an instrument.  The best reeds to buy are “Vandoren” traditional reeds.  These will help to get a better sound and will last longer than other brands.

        The strength of reed varies from student to student so you should check with me before purchasing a box.
