Home Important Music Dates and Events for 2009-2010 November Friday, November 20 – 2nd grade Native American Celebration at 10:00am (2nd grade parents & 1st grade students are invited) December Wednesday, December 9th – Canton Chamber Singers Performance at CBPS - Cancelled due to snow day (Only CBPS students and faculty are invited) January Monday, January 25th – Family Folk Dance 6:30-7:30pm in CBPS Cafeteria Everyone is invited! January 25th-29th  - Music in Our School Week - (parents are invited to attend their child's music class) March Friday, March 5th – 1st grade music field trip – The Hartt School Percussion Ensemble Concert – (leave 11:30, return 1:45) April Wednesday, April 14th – 3rd grade Recorder Concert 10:00-10:45am Rehearsal at 8:50-9:30 – Extra rehearsal TBA (3rd grade parents & 2nd grade students are invited) May Wednesday, May 5th – 1st grade Cinco de Mayo Celebration at 10:00am (1st grade parents & Kindergarten students are invited) Friday, May 21st - May Dance Celebration (Outside - Everyone is invited) 10-10:45 am & 1:45-2:30pm* * We will have two presentations of all the dances, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.  We will split 1st, 2nd & 3rd grades alphabetically.  In this way, all the dances will be seen by each grade.  I will post the schedule on the music web site so that everyone is made aware of when their child’s class is scheduled to perform.  Please mark your calendar with the time of your class/child’s performance. 10-10:45am - AM Kindergarten, Bedard, Cable, Dauphinais, Atwood, Caraher, Carson, LeGeyt, Achee, Ferrone, Pepe 1:45-2:30pm - PM Kindergarten, Eldridge, O’Dell/Watson, Rinkus, Sherman, Nanni, Schuyler, Woodward, Santanella, Schley and Tarnowicz Wednesday, May 26th – 3rd grade music field trip – The Hartford Symphony Orchestra at the Bushnell – (leave 9:15, return 12:45) KEEP SINGING!!
