Hello Families!
Wow...it sure was freezing last night during Windows to the Night Sky! It was great seeing so many of you there despite the cold.
In Reader's Workshop we worked on using headings to guide our non-fiction reading.
In Writer's Workshop we learned how adjectives describe a noun and how to use them to enhance our writing.
In Math we learned about parallel lines and quadrangles. Yes, I know...fancy words for second graders!
Homework for tonight is to read for 20 minutes and to complete homelink 5.2 on line segments.
