Welcome to the Psych Room!
Let me introduce myself. I am John Pierce, school psychologist here at CIS. I meet with a lot of different students for a lot of different reasons. Most of the kids that I meet with regularly come to my office during lunch. They usually bring a friend or two up with them and we talk about school, play some different games (the current favorite is Alien Hot Shots), and sometimes we even go outside to eat or play hoop. I also like to work on social skills, as these kids are at an age when being able to interact appropriately with their peers is vital to their social and emotional development.
