I am currently taking an online course with Stanford University, where we are designing a new learning environment. Through my research for this course, my eyes have been opened in many ways. One of which is the incredible demand for our schools to embrace technology. Through reading the book "Curriculum 21: Essential education for a changing world" by Heidi Hayes Jacobs, I came across the name of a principal from Cobb County, Georgia who is a true innovator in the field of education and technology. His name is Dr. Tim Tyson and his webpage is http://drtimtyson.com/about.html. I highly recommend a visit to this site. He's no longer a principal, but he has kept the work that he did in Cobb County to show what is possible if we embrace technology. Do you have any true innovators in education that you'd care to share with others?

| Recently, I've had conversations with more than one coworker about online resources that can be used to help students who need it and also enrich students who would benefit. I'm posting on here to see if anyone has any input on these two - what's the |

| This past Wednesday, I assisted Susan Fitzell with a presentation on test taking and memorization skills. We began talking to the audience about spelling words out loud forward and then backward and she asked me if I had ever used that strategy. As a |
