A bit more about me
Hello! My name is Beth Dropick! It's nice to meet you! For the first 18 years of my life I grew up in Torrington, CT where I was lucky enough to be surrounded by a loving family who supported me and allowed me to follow my dreams. I graduated from Villanova University where I majored in English and Education. I lived in Lawrenceville, NJ for two years where I taught 5th grade before eventually moving back to CT. I have been a 4th grade teacher at Canton Intermediate School for 13 years and I have loved every minute of it!
Throughout my life, sports have always played a major role. From the time I could walk, I was either dribbling a basketball, throwing a baseball, or shooting at a soccer net. Not much has changed today. I love being outside whenever I get a chance, whether I'm going for a long bike ride, running around a lake, or hiking in the woods. I live in Barkhamsted with my husband, Chris, my 13 year-old daughter, Jaiden, my 10 year-old son, Jackson, and our chocolate lab, Bailey. Teaching is my passion and I wake up every morning excited about the opportunity to make a difference in a child's life.
