OPEN HOUSE - JUNE 14, 2000

A Canton student reads her story to her veteran, and his friends and family. The stories were based on personal interviews, and the students were nervous in their attempts to show respect for their veteran's experience.

Fellow students, veterans, friends and family listen to the story of one of Canton's veterans during the Open House. After each story, the veteran was introduced and presented with a copy of the student's work.

After the reception, students and their veterans posed for a picture.
