2/2/2018 - CHS Girls Indoor Track take NCCC! Boys finish 3rd!
The CHS Girl's Indoor Track have a repeat performance as the take the 2017-18 NCCC Championship!  Boy's have a fantastic finish at 3rd out of 14.  Highlights are....

The girl's took the title with only 5 girls from the previous year's team returning (several 2017 graduates!).  They took the win by one point over 2nd place Suffield (116-115).

Conference Championships won by:
 - Chelsea Mitchell in 55 meters, 300 meters and also won Long Jump with school record leap of 16' 11.5"
- Jane Frawley in 1000m

Conference runner up performances by:
- Maddie Archangelo in High Jump...tying her own school record of 5'0"
- Julia Caputo in 1600 and 3200
- Girls 4x200 Relay and Girls 4x400 relay

Valuable points were won by many athletes in 12 out of 15 events. 

Top 6 finishes by Maya Sutton-Hall (300), Maddie Archangelo (Long Jump and 300), Lila Hunt (600), Helena Winkler (1600 and 3200), the 4x800 relay and victory was not final until Lexi Neeley claimed 5th place in pole vault in a separately held competition the next day at Suffield's indoor pole vault facility.

The boys finished 3rd out of 14 teams with 86 points (Ellington 1st with 107, Suffield 96 and Granby behind us with 76)

Conference Championships won by:
- Max Sparks in 1600 and 3200 (and 2nd in 1000)
- Peter Fuller in High Jump (tying the school record height of 6'0" he already shared with John Solomon)

Top 6 finishes by:
Aidan O'Donnell (55 Hurdles, 1600 and 3200), Andy Obrzut (600), Matt Barton (1000m), Brandon LaClair (Long Jump and Pole Vault), Tim Biondo (Pole Vault) and the 4x200, 4x400, and 4x800 relay teams.
