12/15/2016 - CHS Students warm hearts at Christmas in Collinsville, and also through giving food and clothing to locals in need
The LEO Club was active this weekend. On Friday night they walked around at Christmas in Collinsville dressed in costumes giving out holiday pencils and candy canes as well as books to young children. On Saturday, members helped out at the Canton Park and Rec Breakfast with Santa.
This week was Mrs Aitchison's 20th annual Food Drive. A huge thanks to all students who donated food. Results of the food drive will be released next week. All donations will be delivered to the Canton Food Bank next week as well.
CATA will be sponsoring a winter clothing drive from January 3 until January 18. If you have gently used winter gear that you are no longer using or that your children have outgrown, please consider donating it to this clothing drive. All donations will be given out locally, through the Canton Food Bank and Gifts of Love in Avon. All sizes of winter clothing, boots, hats, scarves, mittens, etc are accepted. Donations can be dropped off at Canton High School in Mrs Aitchison's office, room 109. Use the long winter break to clean out those closets and help others who need warm clothing this winter.
