3/31/2016 - CHS Student receives Capital Area Mathematics League honors

On Wednesday March 30, the Capital Area Mathematics League held its annual banquet.

Senior John Solomon was honored three times that night. He was given a trophy for MVP for the Canton team which finished in the middle of the Einstein division. He was also given a certificate for having two perfect matches,meaning he scored 18 of the possible 18 points in November in January. Most impressively, John was given a large trophy for being the top scoring senior in the entire league of 23 schools. He had an average of 16.67 throughout the 6 meets of the year. Congratulations John! John and other members of the math team will compete in the state math meet on Wednesday April 6 at Greenwich High School.
