12/7/2015 - LEO Club Sponsors PJ Day in Effort to Give Books to Children!

Thanks to all who took part in PJ day!  The LEO Club raised a total of $347.38 ($193.25 from teachers, and $154.13 from students) plus five books as of Monday afternoon.

The monies received will be used to purchase books that will be distributed to children on Friday evening during Christmas in Collinsville. So if you are attending, look for the LEO students and thank them for their efforts.  The students will be dressed up and helping Santa pass out books!  Any extra books will be given to children at Connecticut Children's Medical Center.

Although we appreciate everyone's efforts, special kudos should go out to students in Ms Gembala's period A ($25.08 donated) and Mrs Hughes' study hall period A ($21 donated).  Teacher donations also accounted for just over $193, including notable donations by teachers Heather Schreiber and Faith Longobucco.

Mrs. Aitchison, LEO Advisor, indicated how proud she is to work in a such a generous community.   Not to mention, we think she was thrilled to wear comfy PJs all day!
