Letters About Literature Contest

  • Did you love your independent reading novel?
  • Did it leave you thinking about the world or about yourself?
  • Are you a bit competitive?
  • Would you like to earn some extra credit?

 If you answered “Yes!” to any of the above questions, then we invite you to enter in the Library of Congress’ 23rd Annual Writing Contest. 

 In a nutshell, your task is to write a letter to the author of your independent reading novel answering the following question:

 How did an author’s work change your view of the world or yourself?
