11/16/2015 - The International Club has had a busy fall!
The International Club has had a busy fall. We kicked off with a Pulsera Project Sale in October. "The Pulsera Project is a nonprofit organization that educates, empowers, and connects Nicaraguan youth with students in more than 1,000 U.S. schools through the sale of colorful handwoven bracelets, or "pulseras" in Spanish." See their website for more details.
Since then we've had fun making some authentic cuisine. We made Baklava in October, and last week we made churros y chocolate and empanadas.
The International Club meets every other Thursday in room 129. Our next meeting is December 10th. All are welcome!
