11/5/2015 - AP Physics Students compete in the Yale Physics Olympics

On Saturday, October 17th, four AP Physics students went to Yale for the day to compete in the Yale Physics Olympics.

Seniors Cameron Lange, Carver Coleman, Zach Oliver, and John Solomon competed in five physics-based challenges against physics students from 49 other high schools. Challenges ranged from creating the longest spinning top, to calculating the surface tension of water using only plastic tubing and a ruler.
