SENIOR CLASS VIDEO - PHOTOS DUE MAY 1ST:

Don’t get left out of the Class of 2019 video!  We need to have two pictures of EVERY SENIOR; one from Kindergarten age (by themselves) and one current picture (by themselves). In addition, we are looking for small group pictures of the seniors from over the years - kindergarten through 12th grade.  Please look through your old pictures and send your favorites (re-enactments, graduations, school plays, music, sports).  Photos are due on May 1st!

  • If you are sending pictures other than the required two images of your child, please remember there is limited space so only send your favorites.
  • Small group photos (3-5 kids work best)
  • Only pictures with graduating seniors will be used
Class of 2019 Maroon Envelopes

Continue this wonderful tradition at Canton High School!  This year, we are giving relatives, friends and teachers of our 2019 graduates an extra opportunity to honor our students. Parents, grandparents, guardians, aunts, uncles, cousins, teachers, neighbors, clergy and friends may send your SENIOR student a special letter or card of congratulations on his or her upcoming graduation in June 2019.  We will carefully keep these cards and letters in a MAROON ENVELOPE…..one envelope for each student.  The cards and letters will be kept confidential and are given to the students the last week of school.
You can drop off your cards or letters at the front office in the maroon box labeled “MAROON ENVELOPES” or you can mail them to the school using the following address:  Canton High School SFGP, MAROON ENVELOPES, 76 Simonds Avenue, Canton, CT 06019.

This year we plan on having collection boxes at CBPS, CIS and CMS as well.  If there was a teacher or two who you think would be honored to write your child a note feel free to contact them at the time this project starts and they will be able to just put a sealed card or letter in the box at their school’s office.

NOTE:  ALL CARDS AND LETTERS SENT TO THE SCHOOL OR DROPPED OFF IN ONE OF THE BOXES MUST BE MARKED “MAROON ENVELOPE” AND HAVE THE STUDENT’S FULL NAME ON THE OUTSIDE TO ENSURE DELIVERY!

INSTRUCTIONS for maroon envelope cards or letters:  Please keep in mind that letters will be collected for all students.  It is IMPERATIVE that you follow these guidelines:
  • SEND ONLY CARDS OR LETTERS 8 ½” x 11” or smaller.
  • DO NOT SEND PACKAGES OF ANY KIND!
  • DO NOT SEND ANYTHING OF VALUE.  NO CASH. NO CHECKS. NO GIFT CARDS.  WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT.
  • If you are sending several envelopes inside a larger one, PUT THE STUDENT’S FULL NAME ON ALL THE ENVELOPES ENCLOSED IN THE LARGER ONE.
  • Keep letters and cards FLAT.
You will be asked to come to school to pick up any items which DO NOT meet the above criteria.  ALL cards and letter MUST BE DELIVERED TO SCHOOL BY June 4, 2019.  We encourage you to send your letters as early as possible. If you have any questions please contact  Paula Morabito Gladu:  paulamg86@yahoo.com  Use this Maroon Envelope form
