The Fine Art Survey course (formerly 2D and 3D Design) is a foundations course consisting of studio experiences in drawing, painting, design, mixed media, printmaking, computer art, sculpture, and craft related media. The course is designed to introduce students to a variety of two -dimensional and three-dimensional visual arts techniques, processes and media. Fine Arts Survey 2, and 3 cover the same media, techniques and processes on more advanced level.The course integrates art history, criticism, and aesthetics as well as, art production.       The goal of the art department is to provide quality visual arts experiences in an environment that encourages self expression.
