Activity Groups...

CPAT offers parent/child activity groups for children 1 - 2 years, 2 - 3 years, and 3 - 4 years old.

Mary Bangs and Maria McCormick, CPAT Parent Educators facilitate our Activity Groups which focus on the development of language, motor, cognitive and social/emotional skills through free play, circle time (which can include stories, songs and fingerplays) and sometimes an art or craft.

This is a wonderful opportunity for children to experience social interactions and for parents to observe their children in a different venue.  Check the Newsletter Calendar for days and times.
 

"Parents Morning Out"

Back again this year and beginning in mid-October, a weekly "Parents Morning Out" will be offered at Canton High School.  This program is sponsored by the High School Family and Consumer Sciences Department.   High School Child Development students will plan and provide fun and age-appropriate activities for children 2-1/2 to 5 years old under the supervision and direction of Gloria Wilber, Family and Consumer Science Teacher.   The class will be held in the CPAT room on Wednesdays, between 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.  For more information please contact Gloria Wilber.
