Canton Public Schools closings and early delays are announced in several ways:

The moving banner under the photo on the front page of the district website will show the closing or delay announcement.

AlertNow Rapid Notification system:
On the morning of a closing or delay, an AlertNow message will go out to those participating in this notification system.
Please note:
- AlertNow calls will be going to HOMES at approximately 6:15 a.m.
- AlertNow calls to School staff and Hartford students will be earlier (at about 5:15 a.m.) or as soon as the decision to close or delay has been made.
