Tentative plan of the week for Mr. Ciano's 7th grade class: Reminder that assignments that are handed in late ( in Mr. Ciano's Class) receive reduced credit : One day late =50% off of whatever you earn after it has been corrected. If you want the opportunity to earn full credit, you need to hand in your assignments ON TIME. Supplies that you will need for this class are: 1.   a notebook that is dedicated to Social Studies alone. 2.  a ball point pen that writes with black ink (or dark blue ink) 3.  a folder that is used for the placing of Social Studies papers in it. 4.  a planbook ( usually provided for you on the first day or two of school) 5. a textbook with an appropriate cover on it (once you are given it) Fri. 11-14 -- Went over the homework questions. Went to the C.L. and practiced identifying nations in Latin America using google      then         latin america map quiz Try to score five 'perfect' scores in your attempts. Mon. 11-17 -- New averages shared, Handed back quizzes and writing assignment upon which you will write a reflection of how you could have improved the quality and correctness of what you wrote. 7 - 8 minutes. Then we identified the nations in Latin America and finally we began to color in all of the nations in colors that are different from their neighboring nations. To be finished for homework... 8-9 minutes. Tues. 11-18 or Wed. 11-19 --    Collected the reflection upon your written assignment regarding the most relevant Theme of Geography to you. -- Supplies checked. -- Set up paper for the FCA writing assignment planned for Thursday or Friday. Read and discussed How Climate in Latin America varies by using pages 14 to 18. Mush sharing and discussion took place. Homework- Complete the worksheet regarding these pages. I have included this worksheet below, in case you were absent today... This was started in class, and assigned to be finished for homework tonight. Also study your maps for 5 minutes. Thurs. 11-20 -- In - class  writing utilizing the FCA method. Homework- study your Latin American maps for 5 minutes in preparation for next Tuesday's quiz. Fri. 11-21 -- Any make-up FCA writing??
